As Wellness Director at the kind and ethical women's monthly, Psychologies, I bring a lot to the round table – but as an holistic facialist, wellness author and the founder of The Balance Plan, I have deepened my understanding of wellness in a way that allows me to really walk the talk. You can't fake synergy – and I wouldn't dare try. When the way I live my life – in keeping with natural and holistic principles – is well-matched by a brand that champions the same things, I love nothing more than working together. To ensure that I can always remain objective, authentic and truly invested, I think very, very deeply about the partnerships I agree to.

I have consulted for de Mamiel, for whom I helped develop a 'voice' and positioned copy to illuminate the brand's unique ethos and artisanal quality; Friedemodin, an artisanal perfume brand, for whom I created thoughtful press materials for their first celebrated scent collection and Neom Organics, my longest-standing client, for whom I create rich content, bespoke wellness reports and e-books to support their award-winning products.

Alongside conscious consultancy, I also cherry-pick projects with natural brands who uphold ethical values. I have worked with Burt's Bees, as a Natural Beauty Ambassador – introducing the simple skin-supporting wisdom of natural and organic ingredients, in an affordable and practical format. I have also worked on and given talks for various clients: at Wilderness Festival, I ran a sold-out event on bringing balance into your life via holistic wellness and natural food, and with Aveda, I was invited to be a guest speaker, talking on the holistic health principles of Ayurveda (of which I am an enormous fan) for a major weekend Beauty + Wellness Event.

Recent events that I have worked on include: chairing a Wellness Summit on the subject of Wellness in the Workplace (for HOLBA), with an esteemed panel that included Professor Dame Carol Black; a Facebook Live Event with the Hemsleys, which attracted over 1 millions views; giving an hour-long talk on how to live a '360 life' for Aurelia Skincare, at their beautiful pop-up store in Piccadilly, and creating and filming a series of 'Big Sleepover' videos with Pukka Herbs, to support their new sleep tea and supplements, and the November SLEEP issue, of Psychologies magazine.

Upcoming collaborations include the curation of a year-long series of #360me events, to highlight the power of self-care and holistic health, with COMO Shambhala Urban Escape at London's Metropolitan Hotel, and a sold-out talk with Jasmine Hemsley and Selda Goodwin, on #360me Living, at the hugely popular Sweaty Betty Live, in September 2017.

I N   P R I N T

I have 13 years experience in beauty, health, trends and wellness. I've written for over 20 titles, including Elle, i-D, Harper's Bazaar, The Sunday Times Style, Juli B and Amelia's Magazine. I have also held roles as a contributing London editor for Beauty, for the New York title, NYLON (5 years), and online beauty editor, at Condé Nast title, GLASS (2 years).

I joined Psychologies in 2010, as Beauty Director. Since then I have moved the focus of the magazine towards health and wellness – launching the well-received #360me holistic health section in early 2016. I believe that optimal health is a happy connection between mind, body, spirit and the all-important gut.

I have been thrice-nominated for a Jasmine Award and have won the J&J Beauty Award for Best Monthly Consumer Magazine Feature, and P&G Award, for a piece I commissioned on radiant, healthy, natural skin.

I have had the joy of working very closely with the world's foremost authorities on health and wellness, who bring the utmost integrity to their work. It's been an honour to learn from them. These include the incomparably knowledgable Dr Andrew Weil (twice the coverstar of TIME magazine), the passionate and authentic Jasmine and Melissa Hemsley, whose Art of Living Well column has been a favourite among our readers, and the wise and wonderful Eve Kalinik, whose honest and inclusive approach to food makes her the perfect choice for our guilt-free, but wholly healthy, pages.
